This study aims to describe the concept of compassion character which was analyzed based on perspective theory by Krstin D. Neff, Paul Gilbert, and Elisha Goldstein. analysis intended produce a synthesis formula that comprehensively includes definition, essence, aspect, indicators character. applied for literature review with descriptive technique. The function this result is as basis designing instruments measure more following Indonesian context.
